Acid is a lower form of Techno and was distributed in 1993 and 1994. The production of Josh Wink "Higher State Of Consciousness" made the genre a little known, as they also made it to commercial radio. This was followed by Kai Tracid 1997 "Your own Reality". Currently Acid is more common than you might think and often serves as a background baseline. The main tool was then the Roland TB303 synth, this was used as a bassline and lead synth.
